The television drama Xingfu Cao (Happiness Juncao) premiered on China's state broadcaster CCTV-1 and major streaming platforms, showcasing not only China's global assistance through Juncao technology but also the breathtaking landscapes and unique culture of Pingtan, Fujian Province. With extensive filming locations in Pingtan, including Changjiang'ao Wind Farm, Tannan Bay, Jingsha Black Sand Beach, the Northern Ecological Corridor, and Zhuyu Bay Film Base, the series immerses viewers in the island's natural beauty and cultural charm.

The story follows a Chinese Juncao technology team's journey to promote the technology abroad, battling obstacles to bring prosperity to local communities. Juncao, known as "China's miracle grass," has transformed lives in over 100 countries, fostering agricultural growth and environmental sustainability.

Pingtan's stone houses, a distinctive architectural feature, serve as picturesque backdrops, enhancing the drama's visual appeal and cultural richness.

Local residents and netizens alike expressed their enthusiasm for the series. "I feel a special connection to Xingfu Cao knowing it was filmed in Pingtan," shared citizen Liu Jiamin. "I hope it showcases our unique charm and cultural heritage to the world."

Beyond its entertainment value, Xingfu Cao serves as a testament to China's commitment to global development and poverty alleviation. Since 2001, China has successfully introduced mushroom grass technology to over 100 countries, fostering international cooperation and brotherhood.
