The fusion of sports and music reached new heights at the 2024 Cross-Straits (Pingtan) Three-on-Three Basketball Electro Music Carnival, held at Pingtan's Longwangtou 3x3 Basketball Park. This unique event combined the thrill of basketball competitions with electric music performances, attracting numerous basketball enthusiasts and music lovers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

Basketball Competitions Showcase Teamwork and Talent

The heart of the carnival was the thrilling 3-on-3 basketball matches, which pitted four elite teams from both sides of the Taiwan Straits against each other. The competition was intense, with players displaying impressive ball handling skills, quick reflexes, and strategic teamwork. The atmosphere was electric as spectators cheered on their favorite teams, creating an unforgettable experience for all in attendance.

"Coming here to make friends is the priority," said Peng Baihua, a member of the Changhua Youth Team from Taiwan. "I hope to meet new people, exchange basketball skills, and build lasting friendships."

Electro Music Energizes the Crowd

Interspersed between the basketball matches were energetic electro music performances that transformed the basketball court into a vibrant dance floor. Bands, DJs, and rappers took the stage, blasting out upbeat tunes that had the audience grooving along. The KOL (Key Opinion Leader) performance showcased spectacular dunks, free throws, and one-on-one matchups by over 20 renowned online personalities, further fueling the excitement and energy of the event.

"The atmosphere today is incredible," exclaimed audience member Wu Yinan. "Not only did I feel the heat of basketball, but I also experienced the allure of music. It was an unforgettable night."

Innovative Format Boosts Pingtan's Cultural Profile

Zhang Jiemin, head of the event operations department at Pingtan Straits Sports Industry Development Co., Ltd., expressed his satisfaction with the carnival's success.
