From October 10-13, 2024, the highly anticipated 2024 Drift Championship Cross-Straits will commence in Pingtan, a rising international tourism island in China. This exciting event brings together top drift racers nationwide, promising an exhilarating motorsport and cultural extravaganza for spectators.

A Gathering of Drift Elites

As a premier event involving drivers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, the Championship will serve as a platform for regional cultural exchange, actively promoting the development of motorsports and cultural-sports integration across the Straits. The previous edition attracted over 50 renowned drifters from Taiwan and the mainland, including Zhang Shengjun, Wang Qi, and Zhu Yuanlu, revving the engines of supercars such as the Toyota 86, BMW M3, Mercedes-AMG SLS, and Ferrari California.

The Return of "Super ONE"

This year's edition will also see the much-anticipated comeback of the "Super ONE" open exhibition race, inviting 20 elite drivers to the F1 Platform along the picturesque North Ecological Corridor in northern Pingtan. This exciting showdown will crown the "Super ONE" champion. Unlike the main race on the Pingtan Ruyi Lake International City Circuit, "Super ONE" presents a more challenging mountainous terrain.

Building Bridges Through Motorsport

Pingtan boasts rich tourism resources and has been named one of "China's Top 10 Sports Tourism Destinations" for seven consecutive years. The 2024 Drift Championship Cross-Straits will deepen exchanges and understanding between people on both sides of the Straits through the unique cultural symbol of motorsports, promoting integration and development in areas such as sports and tourism.

Registration is now open, and we look forward to the thrilling competition at the Pingtan Ruihu International City Circuit from October 10-13!
