"Our students no longer have to contend with the discomforts of desk napping," exclaimed Xu Hui, a staff member of Pingtan Saier Bilingual School, one of the pioneering institutions to adopt these nap-friendly desks. "These desks are designed with precision, allowing students to adjust the backrest from 90 degrees to 135 degrees with ease, turning their learning spaces into restful havens during lunch breaks."
The introduction of these desks has sparked excitement among students and parents alike. Chen Zilin, a sixth-grader at Pingtan Sair Bilingual School, enthused, "The transition from study mode to nap mode is effortless – just a quick pull of a lever, and I'm all set for a rejuvenating rest. The afternoon classes feel much more energizing after these power naps."
Zhang Xiaoli, a concerned parent, echoed the sentiment, "I'm thrilled to see my child enjoying such a comfortable and healthy environment. The traditional desks that caused backaches during naps are a thing of the past."
Pingtan's educational authorities have invested heavily in these ergonomic desks, ensuring that they cater to students of all ages and sizes. "We've invested over 500,000 yuan to procure over 400 sets of these desks, prioritizing students in need of better nap facilities," shared Principal Weng of Pingtan Lancheng Central Primary School. "The response has been overwhelmingly positive, and we plan to gradually extend this facility to all grades."
