The 2024 Drift Championship Cross-Straits roared into action on October 10, showcasing the thrilling and visually stunning "Super ONE" open performance once again. Nearly 20 elite drivers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits converged on Pingtan's Northern Ecological Corridor for an adrenaline-packed mountain drift.

The "Super ONE" is a signature event of the Championship. Unlike the main race on Pingtan's Ruyi Lake International City Circuit, the "Super ONE" Open Performance opted for a more challenging mountain road course. The coastal scenery, bay cliffs, and winding track harmonized beautifully, providing a dramatic backdrop as drivers navigated the turns with exhilarating precision, engaging in a captivating battle between man, machine, and nature.

Xia Changhao, a driver participating in his second Championship, shared his excitement. "I can tell that the cars from Taiwan have significantly upgraded this year. Each one is highly competitive, and the drivers are very skilled. Today's performance was incredibly exciting and impressive," he remarked.

Huang Wei, general manager of Pingtan Automotive Culture Development Co., Ltd., elaborated on the vision behind "Super ONE." "Since last year, we've been meticulously crafting 'Super ONE' as our signature event. We want to showcase Pingtan's charm by combining the elegance of drift racing with the island's scenery. That's why we continue to host 'Super ONE' at the Northern Ecological Corridor, hoping it will continue to shine in future competitions," he said.

In addition to the racing action, the 2024 Drift Championship Cross-Straits will also feature supercar exhibits, roadshows, and parades, offering viewers a visual feast and serving as a bridge for automotive enthusiasts from both sides of the Straits to connect and exchange ideas. From today until the 13th, the event will progress to the qualification rounds and finals.
