Pingtan, China, has emerged as the triumphant host of the highly anticipated U-18 Baseball World Cup 2027, as announced by the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC). This milestone marks the second time China will host a Baseball World Cup event.

Scheduled to take place in October 2027, the tournament will be a joint venture between the Chinese Baseball Association (CBA) and the Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone Administrative Committee. The state-of-the-art facilities, including artificial turf playing fields, promise a world-class experience for the participating athletes.

The U-18 Baseball World Cup is one of the most prestigious baseball events in the world. Recent successes by the Chinese national baseball team, including a fourth-place finish at the U-23 Baseball World Cup 2024 in Shaoxing, China, have propelled China's world ranking from 24th to 20th.
