Pingtan completes "tax refund upon entry" for 11 offshore wind turbine sets

The company received a total refund of 54.522 million yuan from 12 customs declaration forms, underscoring the region's financial benefits of renewable energy projects. These wind turbine sets have all been put into use at the Pingtan Changjiang'ao Offshore Wind Farm.
"The equipment we imported this time is of immense size and weighs over 13,400 tons, requiring 28 shipping voyages and a lengthy customs clearance process," said Xu Jinke, a staff worker from Fujian Pingtan Datang Offshore Wind Power Co., Ltd.
Offshore wind power projects, characterized by their cleanliness, renewability, and short construction period, demonstrate immense potential and robust development momentum. With the implementation of Pingtan's new overall plan, equipment imported into the special economic zone for island production use that meets the requirements of the "Tax Refund Upon Entry" policy can now receive a refund of value-added tax upon entry.
