"After receiving an overwhelmingly positive response in East Timor, we are thrilled to bring our 'Song Jin Ji' Pingtan fish balls to new markets," said Song Mei, the company's CEO. "We aim to win the hearts of international customers and establish lasting partnerships."
The company's new factory, nearing completion, is set to begin trial production in February next year. The facility is expected to produce over 1,000 tons of various fish balls annually, effectively addressing the capacity constraints of the old plant.
"The new factory will not only boost production but also integrate a sightseeing passage, research and development, sales, tourism, and branding across the entire industry chain," Song Mei revealed. "We are also looking to develop cold chain logistics, industrial sightseeing tourism, and live commerce to enhance the visibility and impact of the 'Song Jin Ji' brand."
Currently, the "Song Jin Ji" Pingtan fish balls have a daily output of approximately 1,500 kilograms, with 70% being supplied to local Pingtan residents, hotels, and supermarkets. With the new factory's imminent operation, Old Song Food Co., Ltd. is poised to produce fish balls with greater standardization, professionalism, and refinement.
"As we move into the new facility, we will be seeking collaborations with more enterprises to co-develop new products," Song Mei added, outlining the company's commitment to innovation and quality.
