Pingtan secures hosting rights for the 2025 31st Asian Baseball Championship

The announcement was made during the Baseball Federation of Asia (BFA) Executive Committee Meeting held in Japan between November 29 and December 1, 2024.
The 2025 championship is a top level baseball event in Asia and serves as the Asian qualifier for the 2026 Sixth WBSC U23 Baseball World Cup. Eight teams from across Asia are expected to compete for the title.
