Pingtan soars with 604.2 million yuan investment in 20 industrial projects

During the symposium, Pingtan signed 20 industrial investment projects with a total investment of 6.042 billion yuan, spanning key sectors such as culture and tourism, emerging technologies, digital, marine, and funds.
Among the 20 projects are the Qingchen Coastal Luxury Hotel and Wellness Complex, the Henglian Precision Instrument Manufacturing Project, the Tannan Bay Five-Star Hotel, the Dongxiang Islet Mountain and Sea Resort, the International Maritime Shipping Project, the Haidian Operation and Maintenance New Material Production Base, the Jinghui Hotel, the Pingtan Straits Aerospace Experience Pavilion, the Longshan Star-rated Hotel, the Fanda Marine Engineering Project, the Taiwan Business Development Investment Fund, the Crab-eating Macaque Entry Quarantine and Isolation Facility, the Cross-Straits Marine Comprehensive Emergency Support Base, the Nianggong Memory Coastal Town Scenic Village, the Cross-Straits Digital Trade Service Platform for Foreign Card Receipt, the Racing Car Bonded Operation and Maintenance Base, the Manned Sightseeing Submersible Project, the Marine Ecological Early Warning and Monitoring Project, the Global Deep-sea Fish and Aquatic Products Processing Project (Phase II), and the Smart Manufacturing Project for New Energy Ships Replacing Wood for Plastic.
Lin Bin, chairman of Fujian Lushun Construction Labor Service Co., Ltd., expressed the enormous development potential of Pingtan. "Next, we will continue to seek cooperation opportunities and contribute to the development of our hometown."
Zhou Erchun, chairman and general manager of Shandong Weiyani Jewelry Co., Ltd., who has been in the gold and jewelry industry in Shandong for 30 years, said that this visit has changed his perception of Pingtan. "Pingtan's development is remarkable. Although I've been away for a long time, I still have deep feelings for my hometown and hope to find suitable projects to contribute."
Liu Yongshou, general manager of Pubiantang Biotechnology (Pingtan) Co., Ltd., said that Pingtan has undergone tremendous changes, with well-developed infrastructure and enhanced cultural atmosphere. His current projects in Pingtan are progressing well and will continue to drive employment and entrepreneurship for locals.
Lin Guohua, chairman of Jinji Industrial Group (Pingtan) Co., Ltd., noted that they have been in the tunnel industry for over a decade and have been promoting the construction of a tunnel engineering machinery industrial park in Pingtan since last year. The park, which is expected to be completed around May and opened in August, will help build a tunnel industry chain in Pingtan.
Huang Ping, director of the Emergency and Safety Research Institute at Fuzhou University, expressed her excitement about Pingtan's development and her hope to contribute through cooperation with local enterprises. "We have advantages in scientific research and hope to make contributions to Pingtan's development through future collaboration with local businesses."
Xue Bin, Chairman of Fujian Haitan International Travel Service Co., Ltd., revealed plans to design thematic tourism routes based on Pingtan's Blue Tears phenomenon and develop sea angling projects, leveraging Pingtan's marine resources to further promote the deep integration of culture and tourism, boosting the construction of Pingtan as an international tourism island.
Local elite Yuefeng believes that combining tourism with music can enhance visitors' tourism experiences. "I will continue to compose songs for my hometown to attract more people to come here to enjoy the sea and sights."
