Between July and October this year, travelers from around the world are invited to explore China's stunning southeastern coastline aboard the CM-Yidun cruise ship, with Pingtan as a key port of call.

Operated under six scheduled sailings, this unique coastal cruise route highlights cultural richness and scenic landscapes along the southeastern seaboard. The eight-day journey begins in either Shanghai or Shenzhen and includes stopovers in Zhoushan, Wenzhou, Pingtan, and Xiamen.

Three of the six voyages are specially designed for international tourists, offering a rare opportunity to experience a deeper side of China's coastal heritage. Tickets are now on sale, with the CM-Yidun scheduled to dock in Pingtan on July 23, August 12, September 1, September 9, September 29, and October 7.

"We want more international visitors to experience what makes Pingtan so unique," said Chen Jianxiang, deputy director of the Pingtan Tourism and Culture Service Center. "The launch of this cruise route allows us to open our doors wider and share our coastal culture with the world."

Pingtan's natural assets have long made it an ideal destination for sea travelers. With an abundance of shoreline, clear waters, and striking landscapes, the island is quickly becoming a must-visit stop on China's growing cruise map.

Cruise guests disembarking in Pingtan will find no shortage of spectacular sights:

68-Nautical-Mile Scenic Area: The closest point on the mainland to the island of Taiwan, this panoramic coastal stretch offers breathtaking ocean views and dramatic seascapes perfect for photography.

Changjiang'ao Wind Farm: Endless rows of towering wind turbines meet the sunset sky, creating a cinematic scene beloved by photographers.

Tannan Bay: Nicknamed "Pingtan's Maldives," this idyllic beach boasts silky white sand and crystal-clear waters with a dreamlike turquoise hue.
