The race unfolded on a track still wet from earlier rain, though the downpour had stopped, creating a slippery surface that tested every driver's skill and focus.
Against this challenging backdrop, driver Wu Chuxiong shone brightest. Capitalizing on his pole position, he navigated the tricky conditions with precision to claim the overall championship. "I came close to losing control several times out there," Wu noted after the race. "But quick reactions helped me pull the car back each time."
The event marked the second consecutive year that the Hong Kong MINI Series has landed in Pingtan, following its 2024 debut. Throughout the day, veteran drivers showcased their expertise, their battles on the wet track encapsulating the thrill and intensity of motorsport.
