The global final of the 24th "Chinese Bridge" Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students kicked off in Pingtan, Fujian Province on August 24. Champion contestants from five continents gathered here to compete for the highest honor in the global Chinese language field.

After five rounds of intense competition, German contestant Ke Xia'an (transliterated from 柯夏安) stood out from the crowd and won the championship of this year's competition.
