On Nov 19, Pingtan and Cambodia's Kampot signed a letter of intent on the establishment of friendship city relationship, marking Pingtan's first Asian international friendship city. Both sides highlighted complementary strengths and pledged deeper cooperation in trade, tourism, agriculture and ecology. The Kampot delegation visited Pingtan's green energy, cross-border e-commerce and cultural sites, hailing its rapid development.
