Three Chinese mainland-made low-bed semi-trailers departed Pingtan for Taiwan's Taipei Port on Nov 23. Produced by Shandong Kailukun Automobile, each 37.5-ton unit transports large equipment like excavators. This year, heavy machinery including cranes and wind power platforms has also been exported globally via Pingtan, the closest place on the mainland to the island of Taiwan.
