Pingtan's upgraded football stadium ready for FJCL as local team enters final training push

Renovations finished on April 10 include resurfaced turf, facility upgrades, new seatings, improved lighting, and a digital scoreboard. The stadium has passed final inspection and ready for league matches. Local organizers are setting up market stalls, securing commercial sponsorships, and creating fan festival zones near scenic spots and ports—all to be ready by April 20.

Pingtan team is conducting competitive training drills.
Meanwhile, the Pingtan team has entered its final training phase at the renovated ground. Players are focusing on defensive shape, coordination, and transition play through intensive drills and scrimmages. The team has used practice matches against university and professional sides to sharpen performance.
Wang Kan, vice chairman of the Pingtan Football Association, stated, "After nearly a month of intensive training and multiple warm-up games, the team has made great progress in defensive compactness, coordination, and attacking transition. Team chemistry has improved significantly and we have met our preparation goals."
Pingtan's first home match is scheduled for April 25, as the island prepares to welcome teams and fans for a competitive and festive football event.
