Under the theme "China-Chic Ignites · Dance Shines Across the Straits", the Cross-Straits Street Dance Competition took place in Pingtan in November, 2025. With dance as a bridge and competition as a bond, it gathered over 500 top dancers from both sides of the Taiwan Straits to compete, exchange and co-create. Featuring diverse events such as Breaking, crew choreography and team battles, the competition integrates trendy culture with cross-Straits characteristics, delivering a visually stunning and professional youth cultural feast. It builds a communication platform through youthful rhythms, deepens friendship among cross-Straits youth, and supports Pingtan in establishing itself as an international, youthful and fashionable cultural and sports exchange hub, continuously unleashing the cultural vitality of cross-Straits youth.
