Located in the Taiwan Straits, Pingtan Island has kicked off the Qilin Xingxiu Motorsports Stunt Carnival on June 18, offering residents and visitors a new nighttime attraction. The event will run through October 8.

At the opening show, engines roared across the venue as professional drivers delivered a series of precision stunt performances. Highlights included synchronized drifting by two cars, two-wheel driving on extreme angles, and tight-space parking drifts that showcased high-level control. High-speed overtaking and dramatic fire-ring crossings pushed the intensity further, keeping audiences on edge throughout the performance.

Motorcycle riders also took to the stage with aerial jumps and freestyle stunts, adding another layer of visual impact to the show.

The program also invited randomly selected audience members to take part in immersive experiences such as drifting, tail sliding, and two-wheel balancing stunts. "It was my first time watching such close-up stunt driving—it was incredibly exciting," said spectator Yu Genwu.

Event coordinator Chen Shengjuan noted that this year's performance features 14 separate acts, including the newly added heavy motorcycle segment. "Professional motorsport stunt shows are rarely seen up close. We hope to bring audiences a truly immersive audio-visual experience," she said.
