Cross-Straits Center of Guoxue kicked off its 3rd study camp in Pingtan, the closest place on the Chinese mainland to Taiwan. The camp came as part of the 2nd Cross-Straits Guoxue Forum.
The 2nd Cross-Straits Guoxue Forum will lift its curtain on May 24 in Pingtan, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan. Guoxue refers to the study of traditional Chinese thought and culture.
Coming up this month, on May 24, the highly anticipated 2nd Guoxue Cross-Straits Forum and Guoxue Vlog Competition will take place at the Taiwan Entrepreneurial Park of Pingtan.

The 2019 First Cross-Straits Study Camp for Guoxue wrapped up on April 19 in Pingtan. Youths from across the Taiwan Straits learned about traditional Chinese etiquette and I-Ching, experienced digital Guoxue, practiced Tai Chi and wrote calligraphy, among others. They also toured iconic places of Pingtan such as International Research Center for Austronesian Archaeology, Haitan Ancient Town and Aoqian Taiwan-themed Town.
The 2019 Cross-Straits Youth Guoxue Study Camp kicked off on April 15 in Pingtan Comprehensive Pilot Zone, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan.
