The Geological Society of China released the first batch of geological cultural villages and towns across China on its official website on May 25.
Pingtan Strait Rail-Road Bridge is an important part of the Beijing-Taiwan passage. The bridge spans Haitan Strait, one of the three windiest spots in the world, known as a "no-go area" for bridge builders.
The plant would not only effectively ensure food safety but also achieve the goal of resource recycling.
Pingtan, Chinese mainland’s closest neighbor of Taiwan, successfully held its first IM Cross-Straits Youth Film Exhibition last year.The exhibition aims to give support to young filmmakers on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.

The tourism development plans to build four major projects: high-end B&Bs, leisure businesses, recreation and entertainment,and island resort with an estimated investment of 200 million yuan.
Pingtan, the closest place on the Chinese mainland to Taiwan set up an pavilion and promote policies regarding industries, economy and trade, and collaboration with Taiwan to attract more investors.
